It's good to meet you and know a bit about you. Welcome to the forum, it's great to have more people sharing who have a desire to grow in love. I wanted to say something in reply to a comment you made

It really gets triggered when in the teaching that AJ says something along the lines of God is really all we need and we can go straight to her. Which I agree with, but since she doesn't speak to us directly than I would imagine that I would still need to be open to spirit/guide assistance.

I just wanted to say that God can and does speak directly to us in two ways that I'm aware of. One is through experiencing Her divine love you can have a direct experience of truth, like a knowing in your heart. The other more easily accessible way is through your law of attraction which Pierre explained above but I thought was worth pointing out again because it's such an effective instructor. It's called Gods messenger of truth because it's constantly giving us detailed information directly from God minute by minute and it's specific for each of us. That just blows my mind. All we have to do is tune in and once plugged in you can receive personal detailed guidance direct from God as long as you are able to stay in truth yourself. That means no engaging facade or addiction or unloving behaviour. We use our will to sincerely take one step towards God and She traverses the universe to meet us at our one step. This process is really good at building faith as well.

You are absolutely right about what you said about the 2 ways. I have been paying a bit more attention to my law of attraction and don't always get the reason, but I seriously need to get better at that part and pray for truth when I don't understand. Also both of these things that you and also Pierre mentioned are always a great reminder. Thank you for that.

The facade...that thing that we want to skip over. I was just listening to AJ talk about this last night in this video about how we just want to ignore the facade, hurt child and try to go straight to attempting to develop our real self.
