While I haven't yet read these books, I want to recommend reading this short piece about Derrick Jensen's 2 books, titled End Game: The Problem of Civilization & Volume 2: End Game: Resistance. This article (found on Wikipedia) furthers my desire to unhitch from our "civilized" world and its (our) ongoing destructive means.
