I love exploring the LoA and its operation in my own life, but find myself still quite confused in some areas. I understand how forces of desire and other projections can push and pull between the souls ... between overt and hidden agendas. I understand how other living things God created to mirror us may also be manipulated by our condition. But ... what of man-made creations ... of inanimate objects, programmed machines or operating systems. Is the child's toy magically nudged into the path of the weary-eyed father coming down for breakfast ? or, is this dad encouraged by spiritual co-conspirators to alter his path ever so slightly so as to encounter that thorn to the right or left foot ? Is it Divine intervention or Divine mechanization or some combination ?

I have been using a casino for the past 8 years to test out how the LoA functions and if it can truly be manipulated by the individual. I love this venue because results are easily measurable, unlike the vague experiences of our day-to-day. However, over this lengthy time period ... of changing hypothesis, stratagems and results ... the only overall consistency seems to confirm the already held societal belief ( surprise surprise ) and that is ... the casino wins at the programmed ratio, based off of machine settings, table odds and the current and predictable nature of human behavior. But I ... like so many others ... also hold to some embarrassingly childish belief of magical thinking ... some are lucky and some are not. A belief that has demonstrated an apparent consistency as well, We just usually keep it hidden, as it sounds fatalistic and irrational. Perception produces experience or experience produces perception ... while likely both are in operation at various points in our lives ... how can we truly ever really experiment with truth without releasing the emotion first ?

I don't have much personal experience to offer on this apart from having computer/phone/ electrical issues which only seem to affect me and someone else uses the equipment and it works perfectly for them.

I feel as though you have an intellectual misunderstanding concerning the Law of Attraction. The LoA (as well as all of the other divine laws) operate on the soul. I feel as though you have almost brushed off the actual workings of the LoA on "vague" day to day experiences where this is exactly where the LoA operates and it's a case of becoming more sensitive to its operation.

I feel as though you are rationalising a potential addiction you may have to the casino/gambling under the guise of experimenting with God's Laws (in this case, the Law of Attraction). This is very damaging and it is actually immoral and unethical when you reflect from an intellectual perspective in terms of God's Laws. Because of this, I feel as though you may be involved with casino's to gain materially in your Earth life rather than progressing spiritually for sincere motivations, which would involve carefully examining your day to day attractions and working through any issues that arise.

I feel there is quite a heavy facade at play here - there is a degree of denial and resistance. I believe you kid yourself into thinking you are doing something productive by experimenting with "God's Laws", when in fact you are engaging in an addiction and it is taking you away from looking at the emotional causes within yourself which drive this unethical behaviour.

I disagree with some of your feels Nicky, as they are not what I know of me. Words can often betray intentions, as I feel they may have done in this case. But your reply has indeed triggered some emotions in me that I will explore further ... whether presently vague or not. Not really sure what behavior you want to red strike ... the question I posted was sincere even if I did attempt to bring others into the specifics of my confusion. Sometimes I feel that is necessary to illustrate where I am, so that another might find me and better guide me into greater understanding. The subject itself is fascinating to me ... and I want to explore the law itself. But that does not mean that it is just a topic to play with intellectually. I am very committed to utilizing the personal feedback I get from my own LoA for my soul's growth. I have just been confused a little about the message my personal messenger is sending me and thought understanding how it operates a little better might assist me. I have not found the things I addressed in my question in any of the material and wondered if others had and if they hadnt ... what they felt about the matter. Did they have similar questions themselves ... that they had somhow resolved ... whether intellectually or emotionally. I did find Amanda's response helpful ... as I have had the same experiences with computers and she reminded me of that.
