A Wanderer in the Spirit Lands is a book that came through a spirit to a medium - I believe similar to the Mists books. However, the spirit, Franchezzo, passed over into the very dark regions of the Hells. His story is one of his progression out of the Hells through love and repentance. He also tells of the spirits that are always near ready to help or hinder.
If you have any question about whether to develop your soul now - this is a book to read. It is frightening, inspiring and poetic.
