"A movie that sticks out in my mind as a human who represents a lot of God's loving qualities is the protagonist in the movie 'Powder'.
I feel that his character inspires humanity to be better and more loving. It also triggers the feeling of being alone, unwanted, unpopular by being yourself."

"There are errors in the film about God's nature but the characters of Valjean and Javert present two opposing "versions" of God. Valjean is shown a compassionate, loving, merciful and forgiving God who inspires him to live a more loving life. He is transformed from a hard, bitter criminal to a sensitive, softer man who is capable of love and compassion. This is contrasted with Javert's belief in a harsh, punishing, judgmental God who demands justice and punishment."
