"Based on a true story of a deaf and blind child, the parents spoil her and they have to call someone in to help teach the child and the parents to take personal responsibility for the situation. I found this stuck out for me, but others may have different feelings from the movie a sit has a lot in it, it is very beautiful and reminds me of my childlike tantrums of having to look after myself and that I can do it despite the obstacles."

Title: The World of Apu (1959)

"It is a story, in three parts, of a writer's life beginning with his childhood in rural India. It is beautiful really. It covers his early life and his struggles with his passion for writing and issues of surviving in the world as well as issues of love and responsibility to others while pursuing passions.
It was first release in the mid 1950's but is considered a classic and is usually not too hard to find because of that."

"This movie that suits many themes i feel, but one of them is how we can choose to take the personal responsibility for our lives even if we had a harsh start in life. Instead of looking for excuses and being addicted to victim self."

Title: Human (2015)

"Human" is an absolutely amazing movie about being human. It is in 3 parts with different themes, in total 4 hours, and it touches on so many depths within us being Humans so I found it difficult to find the most appropriate theme. Many of the persons show some great examples of taking personal responsibility, and it encouraged me to do so too."

"This program shows how tea production in this region of India is affecting the native animals & plants. Watching this put me in touch with how my desire for & addiction to tea is a sin, causing widespread ill-effect on millions of plants & animal species, while enslaving workers, just to meet my/our addictions."
