The Universe is your canvas, we each your crowning jewel
The sun, birds, moon and stars sing your name
Even in the dead of night, you light the way
Where there is Truth in the inward parts, there you will be found
In all the detail, you leave a trail
When followed leads us to you
You are The King of Goodness, Patience and Compassion
Smiling down on us in our imperfection
In our weariness you carry us
After our repose, you give us wings
You are the King of all the Heavens and Earth
Your Love, like a rope reaching down deep into the maelstrom
Pulling us up so we can draw breath
You are the King of Redemption
Never turning your back, always offering your gentle hand
Having utmost trust in the workings of Your Plan
You deliver us from sin, Your Forgiveness alone having power to blot out our transgressions
You are The King but also our Father
A Father who guides with Love and Choice
Not a father who rules with a stick, an iron fist and condemnation
To have such a Father and King, surely we are favoured beyond belief
May we have the humility to stand with you, by your side
May we all one day be granted the honour to dwell in your house,
The house of The King and Lord forevermore
